Summer has to be our favourite time of year. After the recent heatwave in the UK, we couldn’t resist sharing some of the hottest summer packaging designs we’ve been loving this month.
M&S Great British Summer
There really is nothing quite like the Great British Summertime (or so they say!) We can’t get enough of this quintessentially British approach. Tapping into consumer emotions, we’re taken on a reminiscent journey of childhood seaside holidays.
Compartes Chocolate
If you want a little slice of Californian sunshine, then look no further than Comparte’s summer packaging design. Incorporating the renowned Los Angeles sunset and palm trees, we’re feeling all the summer vibes.
Havaianas
Is it really summer unless you’re wearing your Havaianas? The brand has certainly captured their Brazilian spirit to this limited edition summer packaging. Vibrant, eye-catching colours and bold floral pattern spread that Brazilian cheer. We’re definitely carnival ready, are you?
Lyles Summer Treacle
When thinking of summer, black treacle isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. However, we can’t deny that we’re excited by a brand showing you there’s much more to their product than you thought. Keeping in line with their typical look and feel, the design is cleverly rotated to create a BBQ with flames. We can’t wait to try this on our summer BBQ’s (if the British weather allows.)
Corona Summer
Summer is all about relaxation. Corona use an array of scenic photographic prints to help consumers find their happy place, taking them where they can imagine enjoying a nice cold Corona.
Jude’s Ice Cream
Tapping into British heritage once again, Jude’s ice cream involves traditional British seaside colours and patterns to differentiate between flavours. We love the classic look and all we have left to say is I scream, you scream, we all scream for Jude’s ice cream.
Zoegas
Zoegas takes us on a horticultural journey with their summer packaging design. The illustrative print conjures up visions of summer meadows and outdoor escapes, we can’t imagine a better view for a lovely fresh cup of tea!
Diet Coke
One day we may create an inspiration blog without referencing the immortal Coca-Cola brand. But for now, we can’t leave these beautiful summer re-designs out. We think it’s so refreshing (quite literally.)
Funky Buddha Brewing
This one’s for all those quirky craft beer fans out there (we have a few here.) Adopting a creative, illustrative approach with sunset beach backgrounds, there is definitely something funky about this packaging. If we could get these in the UK, we know we’d be welcoming a few deliveries to the DCP head office.
