We all love to receive something personalised. Whilst it might not be new to the design world, modern digital printing technologies offer great opportunities for brands to engage with consumers and form deep connections.
If you’re looking for some inspiration you came to the right place. Heres our ultimate collection of amazing personalised packaging.
Coke
The iconic ‘Share a Coke’ campaign has claimed the top spot in our favourite personalised packaging picks and rightfully so. You could say Coke was one of the first companies to push the global trend of personalising brand packaging, with the campaign selling over 150 million personalised bottles.
Oreo
With Christmas steadily creeping upon us, we had to feature Oreo’s personalised Christmas gift packaging. Its illustrative doodle design allows you to get creative and colour the design yourself. But the real genius lays in the personal digitally printed gift tag. We’re hoping they bring it back for 2017!
Malibu
Malibu’s personalised packaging is perfect for all those designers out there. Arriving plain white and leaving as an individually designed bottle, Malibu lets consumers design their own bottles featuring Malibu’s core brand colours of course. We’ll take a bottle (or ten) for the Christmas do this year.
Heinz
Jumping on the personalization bandwagon, Heinz captures their traditional branding whilst serving up a great seasonal message. We think all of us could do with a can of ‘Get Well Soon’ Heinz soup this winter (especially those of us up North.)
Hugo Boss
We love these personalised engraved perfume bottles, adding a more personal touch to a traditional gift at Christmas. We’ll be asking our special someone for a bottle of this.. (thanks, mum).
Nutella
If you haven’t heard of Nutella’s personalised packaging, where have you been? Similar to Coke, Nutella took the UK by storm, making its way into nearly every stocking in 2016. Each Nutella jar can be personalised with a name or seasonal event, making it the perfect gift for any time of year.
Whether you are looking at new marketing campaign ideas or need specific personalised packaging get in touch with our team here at DCP. We’ll take you through the different types of personalisation technologies are available and see how they can work for your brand.
